Horseback Riding at Dogwood Canyon presents an opportunity to experience the park in areas not seen by tram or from the walking and biking trail.

Riders will enjoy a scenic, leisurely ride while exploring the ridges, hollows, and old logging roads found in otherwise seldom seen locations.

Experienced wranglers will guide guests on an hour-long journey while riding past majestic bluffs.

We have established a maximum weight limit of 260 pounds and each rider must be at least 10 years of age. Rides are offered March through November with a seasonally changing schedule. Please call for reservations as availability is limited. Each guest will be required to sign a release of liability prior to riding.

March 1–May 23:

• Tuesday through Saturday
  10:00am, 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:00pm

May 24–September 1:

• Daily
  9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm

September 2–November 1:

• Daily
  9:00am, 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm and 3:30pm

November 8, 15, 22, 28 and 29:

• 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm and 2:30pm

$35 per person plus tax ($17.50 per person plus tax as an add-on to the Adventure Pass)

JR. HORSEBACK RIDING
Available from 10:00am to 3:30pm, these rides are for children ages 3 to 9. Wranglers will provide an opportunity for little ones to enjoy a special memory while being led on a short ride near the stables. Offered May 24-September 1.
